Farmers’ Protest- Dartboard for external agencies

Since the commencement of the farmers’ protest in India which began in the month of September but garnered intensity from November 2020, they have been the talk of the town. Coming straight to the point and connecting the dots we observed how Indian Right Wing media has fueled the facade. Besides a considerable number of genuine farmers who were determined to repeal the farm laws, the rest were only trying to become the fair-weather friends.

They say “Make hay while the Sun shines” and SFJ did the same. SFJ and its poster-boy, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun has paved the path to defame the protest since the start, sometimes by Rail-Roko moment and the other times by announcing $1mn grant to farmers for supporting Khalistan movement and finally by laying a bait to hoist the Khalistani flag at India Gate on 26th January. But the Indian Right Wing played a key role in molding the issue so as to suit their convenience and support the government’s farm laws.

Look at the tweets below from the proponents of Right Wing media from January 26th 2021

Even fake news were flashing in the Prime Headlines
Flag of Nishan Sahib was deliberately shown as a Khalistani Flag.

Even Veena Malik, jumped in to fuel the fire, propagating the same agenda as of SFJ, instigating the Sikhs of India and refuting Terry Milewski’s report. Here is the attached screenshot of her fake tweets.

Pakistan saw a golden opportunity and immediately sown the seeds to propagate the Khalistani agenda. One such account is attached below, disseminating fake news which does not even exist now.

Even fake accounts started flourishing on Twitter pretending to be supporting the protest but in reality, floating their vested interests.

Even before 26th January, The Indian Right Wing was portraying the protest of the farmers as something which is infiltrated by external agencies. Look at the images attached below.

Thus, it is evident by now that be it Pakistan, Indian Right Wing media or SFJ everybody was looking out for their own ulterior motives to establish and none in reality paid heed to what actually was the key issue. Farmers were and they are still repressed as the Government did not seem to be in mood to repeal the farm laws.
